About
Guido is simply Guido. A person born and living in Milan, a major city in Italy.
Guido loves stories, damn well crafted stories, but most of all, he loves drawing them and putting them on paper. Drawing is an hobby, writing English an improvisation (since he never studied it, in the common sense we use the term "studying")
Like all comic characters he performs a double life. He works and studies as a phd student in Milan, and adds variety to his research activities by occasionally practicing urban planning for public administrations. Well, don't overestimate him. After all he's still at his beginnings, and has a lot to learn from the world around. When he's finished with it, he spends his time in drawings things. If there is an author he'd compare his method, he would say Borges, since he systematically trashes away almost everything he does. If asked about the people who represents an outstanding example of creativity, he would say without hesitation Dave McKean, and Trent Reznor.
Guido thinks his "schizo-rhythm" between professionalism and poetics can allow some kind of balance, or establish some sense of priority. Point is he is completely un-amazed, and whenever he is amazed he becomes a bit confused. This ends up by triggering a semi-permanent state of uneasiness, and lack of new works. In order to understand this aspect, have a look at his blog and please verify how infrequent are his posts there. (Apart from that, you may realize his "art" is ugly)
