Thoughts

I'm about to finish my 4th colored image. And what can I say? I want to do more. Can I? So many plans I came up with failed. Could it be that I work best without plans? Propably not. It's all about intelligence and skill.

Skill has better chance to get trained. So, maybe art is more the way to go here after all. Not programming or writing. As for this manga-like works I guess I will do no more things such as "tests" or "betas". Just delivering. Training on the fly. "Just keep rolling." With drawings you know at the end of the day that you complished something. It's more effective keeping your motivation up. --paradox-01 (talk) 22:06, 24 August 2017 (CEST)

Colors

There are entire series made in full color. One thing for sure: black-and-white series are more economic, faster to make. Black-white images can't deliver the full intended atmosphere.

There are two possibilities in between. Doing only the first pages of a chapter in full color. Or, mixing colors into the b/w from time to time. I choose the first option.

Chapter 14: boss battle

Yes, the dark eyes aren't "canon". Just wanted to see how this looks like.

Using a rough brush for textures is ok but for oulines it doesn't seem to fit.

I lost the outlined version. Errr...

Perspective-wise, the background is more fiting in this one.

Lesson of 4th image: avoid too many layers. It can get time-consuming managing them.
