First shot of Konoko's face: meditating, then looking up as the crisscrossed grilles in front of her slide open.

Konoko's appearance in the intro and outro sequences has been noted repeatedly as not being consistent with her appearance in other Oni artwork, but the explanation lies in the fact that the sequences were storyboarded by Alex Okita (who was behind this design for Konoko) and sent to the animation studio, AIC, probably before Lorraine had joined the project with her new design for the main character. (Here's the interview where Hardy mentions Alex worked with AIC.) Then, too, the characteristic style of AIC at that time is evident in their interpretation of the art assets they were given. Compare the AIC production A.D. Police, which was probably animated within a year of their Oni work.
