Nostalgia-ridden Iritscen randomly decides to check out Oni one day, after getting back into Marathon and discovering the whole Aleph-One deal has been going on for a decade without his knowing. He finds a community of enthusiastic people has reverse-engineered massive amounts of the game despite lacking any assistance from Bungie, etc. Seeing their valiant efforts, such as preparing to release a Seventh Anniversary Edition mod package that improves gameplay, he eagerly jumps in, trying to help while not exactly knowing what in the heck he's doing.
