Konoko Payne
This page contains information that is out of date. |
Konoko Payne is a project of Pierre Terdiman. It is based on his Flexine gaming engine. Estimated by Pierre to be a 10-year project (referring to perhaps just the coding), it is now in its seventh year. The latest demo, released May 2007, is freely downloadable and demonstrates his admirable progress in recreating the look and feel of Oni. The project uses proprietary code of Pierre's, of other companies and contributors, and resources pulled from Oni, thus is unlikely to see a commercial release or an open-source release (actually, the closed-source status of the project is subject to change, see here: http://www.codercorner.com/blog/?p=27 ).
