The subject of a short discussion on the old forum wherein this was labeled an eyesore by Oni's Design Lead. Presumably the box was put together by Take-Two since ownership of the game had passed to them a few months before Oni's release.

A "hologram" version of the back of the box is here. In counter-clockwise order, the images are:

• A Griffin who resembles the in-game model, unlike much of his art.
• A Muro who doesn't resemble anything seen in-game, but who is dressed the same as this. Probably the focus of most players' complaints about the box.
• This jump kick with seemingly glitched collision.
• This goofy Backbreaker shot with the Striker's arm becoming detached from the model.
• This disarm shot from the TCTF parking lot.
