"Kokurikosaka Kara" (From Kokuriko Hill)

A girls' romance published by Nakayoshi (1980) which captured the atmosphere of the 70s. Miyazaki used it in his study of girls' manga. He wrote an article for the January '91 issue of Comic Box, entitled Kokurikosaka Kara'-My Shoujo Manga Experience.

A girls' manga by Hiiragi Aoi, published by Ribbon. Ghibli is animating it for a '95 release. Miyazaki is doing the script and storyboards.
