This page seems to be saying that the translation of Shinatama is "magician"; that's kind of interesting, although maybe not relevant to Oni in any way; also, translations of a set of sounds can be completely different depending on the kanji used to write them, so this may not be the meaning of Oni's "Shinatama" at all; P.S.: "Tama" usually means soul, so perhaps "shinatama" is closer to "necromancer" --Iritscen 20:22, 21 September 2008 (CEST)
