There are myriads of roadblocks when trying to write this story. So many that Caged Birds became necessary as its own story with its own set of notes. And right now I'm worried about the Daodan origin story (the artificial immune cells Hasegawa invented) and the Bioc origin story. It's complicated matter creating believable fiction that is rooted in real world knowledge. There's this feeling that it doesn't turn out good enough. This lets the writing progress painfully slow. This kind of stress leads to creative burnout when it lasts over long time. | |||
