This template used to be handy, but it doesn't serve a purpose under Vector 2022, which was made the default skin for the wiki in 2025 and which does not place numbers on TOC items. |
Sometimes a table of contents (TOC) does not benefit from having numbers to the left of the section names; usually this is the case when pre-existing numbers in the section names visually clash in some way with the numbers assigned to those sections by the TOC (see "What links here" for an example of where this can happen). Place this template at the point in the article where the TOC should appear (i.e., after the lede) to get a un-numbered TOC.
