It's not unusual for Oni's box art to contain images from the game's development period, but this jewel case art features a whopping four out of four environments that are not in retail Oni. From left to right:
- This iconic image from the removed MP arena level Crossing Zone or Construction Pit.
- An area of Construction Pit which held lumber, showing a Striker in an over-the-shoulder weapon pose that we don't have now. Larger version here.
- The level which was used for a multiplayer demonstration at Macworld in Jan. 2000 (probably Arena of Pain).
- A completely unfamiliar area with an enemy using a cut energy weapon.
The text, on the other hand, is not unique but is translated from the English language version.
