OSGE (Oni Saved Game Editor) is an editor for persist.dat files written in REALBasic by Tobias Opfermann. Because of the age of the Mac version of the program, it will not run on modern Macs; see OniLib instead.

Features

For each individual save point, you can alter:

  • ballistic ammo
  • energy cells
  • shots left in your current clip
  • health
  • shields
  • hypos
  • ending boss battle

You can pick any weapon, enable cheats, enable all save points at once, enable invisibility, max out everything, etc. You can also modify the screen resolution setting in case you are unable to change it from within Oni.

Usage

  1. Download from one of these Mod Depot links: Windows, Mac (PPC only)
  2. Extract the archive into your Oni folder.
  3. BACK UP your persist.dat file BEFORE RUNNING!
  4. OSGE will ask you to find the persist.dat file you want to edit.
  5. Once you've chosen it, it'll remember which file you were editing the next time you run it.
  6. Hopefully the rest will be blindingly obvious.
  7. If you run into trouble, or even before that, you may want to read the author's Troubleshooting page
