theories for a demilitarized WCG

if the WCG is demilitarized then because "obviously" there no need to have a military power (what countries to take care of?)

in the other hand one can guess "there is always need for military power" because of the possibility that the struggle between WCG and Syndikate could break in the future for "unpredictable reasons", so what happened was the breakdown of the so-called "military-industrial complex" (replace by pure "consumption-industrial complex") (who needs war when we can keep the people busy with themself?)
