The 4-byte field at 0x40 in a "technique" (right after the technique's name) is either a set of cumulative flags (bitset) or a single ID (mutually exclusive options).

The only values taken are 0, 1 and 2, so we can't really tell for sure if it's one or another without some more experimentation.

The following overview makes the (possibly wrong) assumption of a bitset (cumulative options). They could be mutually exclusive...
