+I'd say he's an archeologist. He somehow dug up a really old version of OniSplit :). You can suggest him to get the latest one or to run OniSplit -version to find out what version he has.

 PPC stuff: the latest documentation I found is this: [http://www.nersc.gov/vendor_docs/ibm/asm/mastertoc.htm#mtoc]. What bugs me about it is that some instructions I see in the Mac executable don't appear to be listed there.
