By adding the name of one of these templates to the top of a page, e.g. <code><nowiki>{{update}}</nowiki></code>, it will place the article in a corresponding category under [[:Category:Flagged articles|Flagged articles]]. Editors will peruse those categories when looking for something to help with on the wiki. Some of these templates take or require parameters, so read each page's documentation to make sure you're using it correctly.
