GUNNM is much better known in the States as "Battle Angel Alita". A video game was made for the PlayStation in 1998, and was one of the few games besides Oni to feature deep martial arts as part of an action video game; it was only released in Japan. James Cameron is slated to direct a live-action movie based on this property, projected for release in 2011.
