1. The proper magic word for what you're trying to do is LOCALDOW, not LOCALDAY
2. POTDs and other featured content are set up manually elsewhere; why not here?
3. If you're tired of Shinatama, why don't you set up a new picture with "TLC"?
4. I'll only roll it back once; you're free to do anything you want afterwards.

1. Thank you, I read the wiki help page too fast.
2. I don't know what that means. Ultimately, I would like the template to pick from a category that we manage that's dedicated to "Main Page candidates" so we can try out different sets of images or swap in a new one once in a while, without changing the template every time. That feature can come another day, though.
3. I tire of all pictures sooner or later. Trust me, you'll be glad I did this when the wiki presents you with new pictures each day.
