OniGalore, like other MediaWiki wikis, has the following types of user groups defined by their distinct permissions:

• Administrators
• Interface administrators
• Bureaucrats
• Suppressors
• Autoconfirmed users
• Users
• Bots

A summary of each group's rights and a list of users (in the special groups) are listed on the above pages, but the backend page Special:ListGroupRights displays that information dynamically and so is guaranteed to be current and more detailed.
