GUNNM is much better known in the States as "Battle Angel Alita". A video game was made for the PlayStation in 1998, and was one of the few games besides Oni to feature deep martial arts as part of an action video game; it was only released in Japan. The famous director and producer James Cameron is releasing a live-action movie based on this property in 2019.
