ok thanks Iritscen, btw the images I put are a little blurry because the site i put them on doesn't have preview of higher than 800 pixels, so since they're now on the wiki i tried to update it with the original resolution i took it with 1166x676 for the main window fr example, but it looked big but still blurry so i reverted back to the 800 one that you put, in case you're wondering why the image file was changed, and thanks for the signature tip --Samer (talk) 00:27, 14 April 2013 (CEST)

:Ah, perhaps I shouldn't tell you this, but actually that image is perfectly clear ^_^  What happened is that your browser didn't know the image changed, so rather than reloading it, it served you its earlier cached version of the image, just blown up to the dimensions that the wiki told it to use. If you were to hit Refresh (or Shift-Refresh, whatever works for your browser as a total force-refresh), the proper image would load for you. The truth, though, is that I didn't mind the smaller images, as they don't crowd out the page's text so much. The reader will probably get here from his AEI and thus already knows what the UI looks like at full-size. Plus I already edited those other couple screenshots and don't feel like redoing them :-) But I think I will use the full-size image you uploaded as the new preview in my AE7 thread, as I planned to use one of these wiki images there anyway, and the forum handles big images smartly (dynamic resizing ftw). --Iritscen (talk) 00:56, 14 April 2013 (CEST)

Revision as of 22:56, 13 April 2013

i added some features .. (save mod selection, arrange by, saves sort order) and expanded on the use of the redownload button, (it's not a substitute for update, it's most useful if user after download did something to the mod content on his disk, then there's no way for him to fix it since the pack is not updated on the depot .. here he can re-donwload it) also it said you can start typing the mod name .. if you start typing Cas.. to get casey .. you'll jump to the mod that starts with c then a then s .. it only jumps to the first letter .. filter field is used for typing the name ... --Samer

Yep, thanks for the corrections/additions. I am just going to remove the filter tip as that is something straightforward and I only want "power" tips in that list, but the rest is less obvious. --Iritscen (talk) 01:17, 10 April 2013 (CEST)

Just removed the use case "(re)download manually to get a new file before the cache updates". Actually that's exactly what this shouldn't be used for as this can e.g. also result in a try to get a no longer existing file. --Alloc (talk) 02:26, 10 April 2013 (CEST)

Oops. --Iritscen (talk) 02:29, 10 April 2013 (CEST)

Replaced screenshots with 2.06 version ones, added the missing screenshots for tools and core packages, and some info about them ... --Samer

Thanks, that's helpful. I'm just going to move these over to the wiki, we try to keep all wiki images on oni2.net. By the way, you can sign your edits here with the signature button in the editing toolbar, the --Samer was just because I can't sign someone else's posts with the full signature easily or automatically. --Iritscen (talk) 23:34, 13 April 2013 (CEST)
