The term Thug may be in reference to the actual job of these individuals, as they have been seen to work for the [[TCTF]] as well as the [[Syndicate]]. Also supporting this theory is a lack of color differentiation, a staple in the criminal troops of [[Muro]]. Nevertheless, in all the encounters with these people, they have been shown to have at least basic martial arts training, suggesting that they were intended to function in an environment with hostile soldiers surrounding them. They are little more then civilians, however, and are quite easy to dispatch. Oftentimes, they wear goggles or welding masks.

Also supporting this theory is a lack of color differentiation, a staple in the criminal troops of Muro. They possess some basic fighting ability, but no evidence of training. They are little more than civilians, and are easy to dispatch. Occasionally they wear goggles or welding masks.
