::I didn't remember to mention this above, but I assume you did "show_flags=1" first? :::Of course I used show_flags=1.  Also I did the same test as you did, insert flag then delete flag, however I got the message "not close enough to flag" so that shows a flag was not added.  [[User:EdT|EdT]] ([[User talk:EdT|talk]])
