Directories (or archive files) on whoever.oni2.net are much more fit for that purpose, if you're going for an exhaustive collection. If an image deserves to be on the wiki at all, it should be worth being put on display, it should serve some kind of purpose, not just lie around in a category. And if an image can only be stumbled upon when browsing a category, then in what sense is it "used", really?
