:::Well, I'm hardly talking about something as involved as replacing stairs with an elevator; just a single page that recreates the hierarchy of a PC installation (and another page for the Mac installation if it's sufficiently different), which just lists the files and folders, and links to pages that are mostly pre-existing that document each file/folder. So the user can learn about any part of the Oni installation from a natural GUI approach ("What does this part do?"). It would just provide another system of links to existing documents, for the most part.

:::But actually, I ''was'' thinking we ought to be documenting the persist and key_config files. I believe that persist.dat has already been totally reverse-engineered, so why not put that info up on the wiki? And key_config should be officially explained somewhere. Why don't you just take a look at the result when I get to it, and weigh in then? You approach the wiki from an expert's perspective, but I'm approaching it from an Oni-For-Dummies perspective at the moment.
