There are details on every image's page, but they are not interlinked yet. Since the BINK video was lossy, it may be a good idea to reextract these as JPG. Another way to reduce the files size is to crop the letterbox mattes.

For the outro sequence, see HERE.

The intro movie to the game plays whenever Oni is launched, unless you rename/remove the file intro.bik from the GameDataFolder. Below are some representative frames of the video; there are details on the page of every image below, but the pages are not interlinked. Click here to watch the video on YouTube.

The movie starts with the "black hole" Bungie logo sequence which was introduced in 1997's Myth: The Fallen Lords, then used in 1998's Myth II: Soulblighter. Oni would be the last game to use it, though each of the three games uses a slightly different variant of it. (Halo: Combat Evolved, the first game released by Bungie as a part of Microsoft Game Studios, would introduce the bacteria logo sequence.)

This is followed by a 60-second animated sequence which is authentic anime, drawn by Anime International Company, no less. In it, Konoko battles various Strikers and Ninjas, her expression ranging from stoic to maniacal. Griffin is the only other named character seen in the footage (unless you count Casey). After the intro finishes, the game moves to the Main Menu.

The soundtrack for the video appears on the promotional soundtrack CD as "Oni Anime", apparently composed by Marty O'Donnell.

The PlayStation 2 version of the game used the same Bungie logo sequence except that it ran at 30 fps instead of 15, a pleasant improvement (available as a mod for PC Oni in the AE); however it was preceded by a not-so-pleasant Oni-specific Rockstar intro.
