*Lum (see picture) is truly a bridge character between Japanese traditional mythology and anime. She's very "modern" in that she's a fairy alien royal demon gorgeous babe, and yet she stays true to the ''traditional'' features that characterize a (Buddhist) ONI : horns and tiger skin.
