In the foreground, Muro is in the midst of being struck with a shot from the VDG but it is bouncing off his boss shield. Meanwhile Konoko is in Daodan overpower mode with the chenille effect visible. Category:Images of Muro
A cropped version of this pre-beta image. Konoko was composited into the image to the right of these figures, so this version clips out that portion of the screenshot; however the tip of her rifle can still be seen protruding into frame. Category:Pre-beta screenshots
Found in the August 1999 issue of PC Accelerator. There is a discontinuity in the center because this is a two-page spread and the pages were scanned separately. Category:Advertisements and magazine covers
Unspecified characters designed for the Duality video game by http://www.jsmart.me/ Jorge Sanchez Magdaleno (mirrored from the author's portfolio, here: http://www.jsmart.me/portfolio/2ov8dx1nxnxqoqbrjefppgyk546h5q ). The character next to the game logo is remarkably similar to Oni's Ninja. The other armored trooper (top left) is somewhat more generic. Factions unclear. Five unarmored characters with telltale poses and attributes: proud homeless dwarf, pretty cyborg lady, thug/mugge...
Made by an unknown artist on DeviantArt (the post seems to have been deleted), this piece was lightly adapted by Marty O'Donnell as the cover art for the Oni OST when he put it on Bandcamp. Category:Fan art
From a simple WAP network-based prequel to Oni, released as a free promotional tie-in around the same time as the game. Because the game data resided on remote WAP servers, it has unfortunately been lost. Category:Other video game images
A combination of three animations that were mocked up for the Unit Viewer in March 2000, showing how the GUI would appear and then change shape as it was used. Category:Unit Viewer images
Miscellaneous design elements that were considered for use in the Unit Viewer, in an Illustrator file originally entitled "Blah". Category:Unit Viewer images
A box much like the one that contained a German copy of Oni for the Mac which led to the discovery of the in-game editor's tools files and some pre-beta level scripts. See European Mac releases. Category:Packaging images
Reassembled from the image used in the banner of [http://web.archive.org/web/20011018164207/http://www.playboy.com/sports/games/oni/index.html Playboy.com's review of Oni], and rather worse for wear. Besides the heavy JPEG compression and cropping, the review added gradient effects, various text, and slapped Torn Suit Konoko on the righthand side. I've done my best to 'shop out the text but didn't attempt the large-scale changes required to remove Konoko. It is unknown...
The cover of this U.K. magazine featured Oni, with some art by Jacen Burrows – the main piece unfortunately being flipped, as the lettering on her chest attests. Engine Magazine is virtually unknown and undocumented on the Internet, and this cover may be the only evidence it ever existed. Category:Promotional art
Handmade circuit-like patterns used in some promo art, even alongside the more detailed, photographic-quality circuits found HERE. Category:Promotional art
More design elements which Alex Okita prepared for possible use in promotional art, saved in an Adobe Illustrator file called '''more stuff'''. These elements may never have been used. Some of them overlap each other haphazardly, probably because they were meant to be separately copied and pasted into some work in progress. Contrary to what might one expect, the katakana lettering does not spell anything in Japanese. It's written with the font Katakana Brush, which substitutes letters on the...
