This page is preserved for historical reasons; development stopped long ago. ONK was a successor to BIP; these projects attempted to collect various mods under the umbrella of "general Oni improvements", but their hex edit-based approach to modding was superseded by the introduction of OniSplit and the AE's modular modding approach. The ideas described below are generally available as mods for the AE. |
- Project contributors
Oni ni Kanabô
- Club of Iron
- Basically an extensively reshuffled Oni
For now, there are no big mods, but a series of small scripts and binary patches.
Try them out, and give us some feedback. The features that get the most votes could make it into a "major release".
- The essential components of modding are
- Scripting (more info here)
- Patching binary resources with OniUnPacker
- Engine hacking : Dev Mode, better controls, various bug fixes, extended interface, etc
